The SMUS 1st XV open their season of play against cross town rival Oak Bay in the annual “Rees Boot” match. In front of approximately 1000 boisterous fans at UVic’s Wallace Field, SMUS re-captures the coveted boot and breaks a three-year losing streak.

The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to fight global poverty. Since the event first started, St. Michaels University School has contributed over $50,000. The Junior School has been recognized twice for raising the most money of any junior school in Canada.
