Concerto for Electric Guitar, Rock Band and Orchestra

The annual Cross-Campus Strings Concert took a different turn this year, expanding its scope to include everything from the Baroque era to modern rock. The last number of the night featured the Senior School Orchestra alongside electric guitars, drums, and a synthesizer. DJ Legit and MC Marchand perform the Tom Zheng/Justin Ko composition “Spread the Love, Make a Change” accompanied by Margaret Skinner. This song is dedicated to Spread the Net (spreadthenet.org) – a campaign to raise awareness and help wipe out death by Malaria. The goal is to raise $5 million in three years for UNICEF to purchase and distribute bed nets to families in Liberia and Rwanda and educate recipients on their usage
