SMUS House Olympics

As the school year winds down, our boarding community enjoys a busy week of year-end activities, culminating in the highly anticipated House Olympics. An annual event, the House Olympics cap off a year of friendly competition between the boarding houses and award house trophies to the boys’ and girls’ teams that collected the most points from house games throughout the year.

Cross-Campus Choral Concert

Close to 250 students from Grades 4 to 12 present an evening of vocal delights in the cross-campus choral concert at the beautiful St. Andrew’s Cathedral. The broad music choices include hymns, folk songs, pop tracks, traditional pieces to classical music.

Cuban Vocal Jazz at SMUS

Students and faculty are treated to two performances by the premiere Cuban vocal jazz ensemble, Novel Voz. The SMUS vocal jazz group opened for Novel Voz at Hermann’s Jazz Club on Sunday afternoon.

Basketball for the World Partnership Walk

To encourage support and awareness for the World Partnership Walk, the Middle School held an afternoon basketball event last Thursday that included draw prizes, guest appearances, a free-throw competition and an exciting basketball game.
