Opportunities

At SMUS the number of individual and group volunteer activities is growing each year and we are attempting to provide a framework for each student to participate in meaningful service activities which support the needs of our community.

Students who wish to volunteer are encouraged to connect with the Service department through a variety of methods  to determine the best fit for their interests within the opportunities available. Our Service department researches opportunities and works on lasting partnerships with various groups throughout Victoria and beyond. Our Service Leadership group, Free the Children group, individual boarding students, and individual day students all participate in ongoing activities that meet the needs of others whether locally, regionally or internationally.

You can search the service categories, which are listed on the the right-hand side of this page,  to find out about some opportunities that are currently available. As the opportunities vary in nature, we suggest you contact the Community Service Coordinator (Ms. Parker) and get some individual guidance to find a unique volunteer activity.
