Fraser Valley Christian (FVC) has had a great season of volleyball thus far. The team participated in 5 different tournaments this season, playing great teams and performing well. The team had great showings in all their tournaments (5th at SFU; 11th at UBC; 3rd at TWU; 2nd at Christian Schools; 3rd at PA), with all-stars going different members of the team at each tournament. The team is excited to play together in the provincials this year – one team, one heart! |

The team has played in numerous tournaments including TRU, UBCO (4th place finish out of 52 teams), Kelowna Sec, Vernon Sec. (3rd place) and culminated with a win at the Fulton Sec tourney. |

SMUS has learned a lot and improved immensely over the last few months. With every grade represented on the SMUS senior girls volleyball team, the team’s youth and inexperience became their biggest opponent. However, the team is excited to be given the opportunity to host provincials and to use this time to play against the highest caliber AA teams in the province. Although it has been a rocky road the team has had many exciting matches, primarily an away tournament hosted by Mark Isfeld. With a combination of boarders and day students from various grades, the team has blended tremendously well which fed the team’s positive moral. Although are place at provincials is already secured the team plans to utilize home court advantage and come out firing! |

The Saint Thomas Aquinas Fighting Saints sure have been fighting, from the start of their season up to now. After winning the annual Brentwood College Tournament in October, the Saints were ranked 1st in the province and stayed there with a record of finishing 1st on the North Shore for AA, 1st in the BC Catholic Provincial Championship, and 1st in the AA Lower Mainland Provincial Qualifier. After finishing 2nd at last year’s AA Provincial Championship, this year, the Saints are definitely one to watch. |
